The new world champions will be decided at TUM’s brand new Beach volleyball complex in the middle of the historical Olympic Park from July 9 to 13, 2018. Famous around the world, this location meets the highest requirements for conducting a major international sporting event. A colorful side program will put the finishing touch on the tournament experience.
The Minister President of Bavaria is the tournament’s sponsor. The world championship is being conducted by the German University Sports Federation (adh) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Approximately 200 participants from around the world are expected at the tournament, whose theme is “TUM as a university with the spirit of sports”.
